A veterinarian, practice owner, and nationally respected leader, Dr. Jones earned his Bachelor of Science (1980) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (1984) from Auburn University. He has owned and operated multiple companion animal practices and an emergency care hospital, and served 13 years with Banfield Pet Hospital in roles ranging from Chief of Staff to Vice President of Medical Leadership. From 2011 to 2022, he served as Executive Director of Business Development for PSIvet, supporting independently owned veterinary practices nationwide. Dr. Jones is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of doctors and serves on the board of the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association. He was honored with the Gold Award from the Florida Veterinary Medical Association in 2022.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Dalene's journey through veterinary medicine started early, working at the front desk of a local veterinary clinic during college and gaining hands-on experience as an assistant and technician on Long Island while attending veterinary school. She graduated as part of the inaugural veterinary class at Long Island University before heading to Florida to complete a rotating small animal internship at BluePearl Tampa/Brandon.

Dr. Cartzendafner (Dr. C for short) received his Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys partnering with pet owners to support their animals' health at every stage of life.

What qualifications do you require?

Requirements vary by position. For veterinarians, we require a DVM degree and Florida license. For vet techs, we prefer CVT/LVT certification but will consider candidates with experience. For support roles, a love for animals and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Is prior experience required?

While experience is preferred for most roles, we're open to training the right candidates who show passion and dedication to animal care. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

What's the work environment like?

We're a family-oriented practice with a collaborative team atmosphere. We believe in work-life balance with sustainable schedules. Many of our team members have been with us for years because they love the supportive culture.
